Little heart

A little script of how I imagine this would play out Ellie: staggers to her mother whispers weakly and hoarsely "Hey.. mommy? I'm tired, and I hurt all over." Bloodbird: curls around her kit and purrs comfortingly "I know sweetie, here, let momma give ya a hug and you'll feel better." Ellie: flops weakly into her mother's embrace and wheezes a shuddering breath, shaking with fever O..Okay.. cough "Momma.. its cold, can I take a nap with you?" Bloodbird: gives a gentle lick on the kit's head "It's not time for bed yet Ellie, you can cuddle with me though." Ellie: Eyes droop and gives an exhausted sigh shivers "Mommy? Its dark.. and warm now, I want.. to take a nap.. now" coughs harshly Bloodbird: eyes fill with nervousness as she realizes something is wrong "No Ellie stay awake." Ellie: relaxes and her head flops down onto her mother's paws whispers softly "Momma?.. barely breathing I'm okay.. I dont hurt anymore... and its nice and warm right here... Im gonna go play with the nice sparkly cats.. they are flying around us like birds and said that I can come play with them... I feel all better.. so... eyes glaze and she sighs bye-bye..I love you.... sighs out her last breath contently, with a small smile on her face, her once bright green eyes now glazed and unseeing Bloodbird: feels her kit go limp and stop breathing "No.. no Ellie.. Ellie?" nudges the dead kit and doesn't feel her pulse NO! ELLIE! NO BABY DON'T GO! COME BACK!!" breaks down into yowling sobs of despair Ellie's stary spirit gives her momma a kiss on the cheek and fades away into the moonlight Bloodbird: sobs " Come back to me.."
